  1. List the criteria used for diagnosing metabolic syndrome
  2. List the most current guidelines and describe the available diagnostic tools used to assess metabolic syndrome risk factors
  3. Develop a systematic risk factor reduction plan for patients with diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and other metabolic syndrome criteria
  4. Apply various therapies to treat metabolic syndrome and reduce risk factors in the context of primary and secondary prevention
